We are a small family run business having lived and worked in Spain on the Costa del Sol for over 25 years and established Axarquia Properties in 2001, we pride overselves in being able to work with our clients on a one to one basis.  Most of our clients come from personal recommendations of existing clients and we have sold and resold properties for the same families time and time again. 

We are based in the Axarquia East of Malaga on Spains popular Costa del Sol. Our aim is to find you your dream home within this beautiful area. 

The Axarquia has the best climate in Europe and has tropical fruit trees, mango and avocado plantations as well as orange and lemon groves and the more traditional grapes, olives and almonds. Palm trees line many roads and you really do find yourself driving over lemons! Its not unusual to have to wait for a herd of goats or sheep to cross the road or to see huge oxen pulling carts and men going to work on their donkeys or mules.  Life here is far from the madding crowd yet the beaches stay open all year and both Malaga and Granada airports are within easy access.

Once you decide to make the trip to Spain to view one of our properties we can take care of you from booking accommodation on your behalf in a house, hotel or bed and breakfast. Helping you obtain your NIE number, without which you cannot buy a property. Introducing you to an English speaking bank to open a Spanish bank account or arrange a mortgage. All you need to do is book your flight and tell us when you are arriving.

We listen to your requirements and take you to view the properties you decide might suit you best. We will not waste your time with unsuitable properties. We believe that houses buy people, not the other way round!

We advise that you come with 10% of the amount you want to spend so that once you have decided to buy you can reserve the property with a private contract thus holding it for you while your lawyer does all necessary searches

We have a good selection of English speaking lawyers who we can recommend and we are mortgage agents for CAM bank who speak English, German and Spanish and who will assist you in any way they can.
