Cutar. tucked quitely into the hills above Benamargosa, is a charming little white washed village whoes steeply rising narrow streets and alley-ways echo its Moorish past. The village has a population of 800 people and stands at a height of 331 metres above sea level. The village has two small shops and two bars serving tapas, however a full range of facilities, including 24hr emergency medical centre, restaurants, shops and swimming pool are available just 5 minutes away at Benamargosa. At the entrance to the village (known locally as Fuente del Paraiso or Fountain of Paradise) is a restored Arab Well.
